An important functionality is now available on tellmewhere.com: alerts. You’d like to know who has commented the places you described or who has read your profile? You will, thanks to e-mail alerts that will be automatically sent to you.

Obviously, you can set the frequency of alerts: go to your profile and to “options”. Then, choose if you want to receive alerts every hour, every day or every week.

RSS flux to member's comments

If you like a member, let's say mystic1950 as she provides beautiful pictures of French Brittany, you can be interested to be informed of every new comment.

Now every member has its own RSS feed you can access by clicking on the icon on top of a member profile:

You can use this RSS feed directly in your browser or through your preferred newsreader.

Your favorite places on Google Earth !

You certainly know Google Earth, a great application you can use to travel without quitting your home. Now, you can use it also to display your favourites places as commented on tellmewhere.

Just click on the button on top of a member profile to obtain the right kml file you can open using Google Earth:
